Cornbread

Ingredients
1 Cup
Cornmeal
1 Cup
All Purpose Flour
2 Teaspoon
Baking powder
1/4 Teaspoon
Baking soda
1/2 Teaspoon
Kosher salt
1/2 Cup
Icelandic Provisions Whole Milk Plain Skyr

Large Eggs
1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon
Maple Syrup
1/2 cup + 2 tablespoon
Milk
5 Tablespoon
Unsalted butter, melted
Recipe
Step 1:
Heat oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9x9-inch square pan.
Step 2:
To a medium bowl add the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt, and whisk together until well combined. Set aside.
Step 3:
In a separate large bowl add the skyr, eggs, maple syrup, and milk, and whisk together until smooth.
Step 4:
Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and whisk together until just combined. Drizzle in the melted butter, and whisk a few times until just incorporated into the batter.
Step 5:
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake until lightly golden, and a tester inserted into the center comes out with just a couple of crumbs attached. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
